Ringkasan Pekerjaan (Job Purpose)
The purpose of a Traffic management engineer is to create a plan, design, and implement traffic systems and solutions to ensure the safe, efficient and sustainability of transportation system for movement of people, Heavy Equipment and goods. This includes the development of traffic management plans and the maintenance and construction of roads, Mine Haul Road, highways, bridges, tunnels, and other transportation infrastructure. Traffic management engineer must also analyze traffic patterns, evaluate the effectiveness of existing traffic systems.
Tugas & Tanggung Jawab (Task & Responsibility) :
- Implementing Environment, Health, Safety, and Risk (EHSR) standards and regulations by ensuring work environment conditions, equipment, materials, methods, worker behavior, and 5S under area responsibility with the aim of minimizing risk, achieving safe and secure conditions (Zero Harm), clean environment, and achieved work productivity targets.
- Prepare and identified in the contract documents, e.g. design and construction and commissioning activities, delivery of supporting documentation from design team, vendors and suppliers (and sometimes start-up and performance testing of the completed asset).
- Contributions to the Project e.g. checking operability, maintainability, reviews and output of design, confirming modes of operation of equipment, participation in safety activity, commissioning, and start-up activities.

- Traffic management engineer must also analyze traffic patterns, evaluate the effectiveness of existing traffic systems.
- Coordinate the interface between project team and the PTVI departments to safely deliver projects necessary and improve products, equipment, process and or production.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on project performance, including progress, budgets, and timelines. Analyze deviations and provide comprehensive reports.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status, performance, and issues to key stakeholders. Prepare and present project-related documents, including status updates and analysis reports.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with business partners to support the implementation of new KPIs, processes, and reports.
Persyaratan (Qualification) :
Umum :
- Sehat jasmani & rohani, dibuktikan dengan surat keterangan sehat dari Rumah Sakit.
- Memiliki keinginan bekerja yang tinggi, berdedikasi, dapat bekerjasama secara individual dan tim, aktif, jujur dan bertanggung jawab.
- Memiliki KTP dan berdomisili di Luwu Timur. (LOKAL)
- Bersedia ditempatkan di Luwu Timur (NASIONAL)
- Tidak memiliki catatan kriminal, dibuktikan dengan SKCK dari kepolisian.
Khusus :
- Minimum S1/D4 degree Mining Engineer, Civil Engineer or related to Traffic Management major.
- Min 3 years experiences in related role or traffic management- preferably with heavy equipment in operational activities
- Competent and certified of First-Level Operation Supervisor on Mining (POP)-mandatory (Applicants without POP are still welcome to apply, but will be required to obtain the POP certification independently prior to commencing the role).
- Skills :
- Accustomed to using mining and civil software, such as Autocad Civil 3D, Vulcan.
- Have knowledge about laterite deposite
- Have knowledge in PT Vale’s operations and business process
- Fluent in English both spoken and writing.
- Advance level in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point) and Power BI will be advantages.
- Fast learner, team worker, having a good integrity and be able to work under pressure.
