Ringkasan Pekerjaan (Job Purpose)

Responsible to supervise exploration activities such as geological mapping, core drilling, sample preparation, and other work related with exploration support and assist exploration geologist in validation data and geo evaluation and in accordance with PTVI technical standards, Major Hazard Standards (MHS) & EHS standards and operation procedures.

Tugas & Tanggung Jawab (Task & Responsibility) :

1. Supervise and manage field exploration activities such as drilling, mapping, sampling, sample preparation, safety, quality control, and productivity.
2. Analyze geological data to create maps, evaluate ore characteristics, and assess geological conditions.
3. Conduct preliminary assessments of exploration results as part of geological evaluations and provide input for ongoing exploration progress.
4. Contribute to data validation, review, and assessment of samples.
5. Ensure compliance with PTVI and departmental safety goals (“Safety Yes, Production Yes”) by implementing safety measures, conducting safety talks, and participating in planned audits.
6. Provide input and recommendations to supervisors or senior geologists to improve exploration activities.

Persyaratan (Qualification) :

Umum :

1. Sehat jasmani & rohani, dibuktikan dengan surat keterangan sehat dari Rumah Sakit.
2. Memiliki keinginan bekerja yang tinggi, berdedikasi, dapat bekerjasama secara individual dan tim, aktif, jujur dan bertanggung jawab.
3. Memiliki KTP dan berdomisili di Luwu Timur. (LOKAL)
4. Bersedia ditempatkan di Luwu Timur (NASIONAL)
5. Tidak memiliki catatan kriminal, dibuktikan dengan SKCK dari kepolisian.
6. Sudah melakukan Vaksinasi Covid-19 minimal yang pertama, dibuktikan dengan Sertifikat atau Surat Keterangan Vaksinasi Covid-19 dari aplikasi Peduli Lindungi Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia.

Khusus :

1. Minimum bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering from a reputable university
2. Minimum 1 year working experience in a mining company with the position of Geologist, preferably in Nickel Laterite
3. Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
4. Possession of a POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) certification is preferred.
5. Skills :
   • Have good basic knowledge of various geology methods, and understand the principle of data acquisition, interpretation & validation
   • Have basic knowledge of laterite profile and exploration targeting
   • Advanced proficiency in operating software related to geology especially ArcGIS, Q-GIS or related software, as well as Microsoft Office.
   • Have ability to read maps and operate GPS in the field
   • Know well about Drilling Equipment & Operational
